World Scout Jamboree
The World Scout Jamboree is one of the largest outdoor educational events for youth on the planet!
Tens of thousands of Scouts from all over the world come together to camp outdoors and join in fun activities where they make new friends, learn about other cultures, and develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime. This event is opened to Scout between the ages of 14 and 17 from all 172 Member Organizations.
25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea
Our next World Scout Jamboree will take place from 1 to 12 August 2023 in SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea. We are excited to welcome young people and volunteers to this once-in-a-lifetime event.
This year's theme of "Draw your Dream" represents how young people's ideas can create opportunities to make their Jamboree dreams come true in a safe, inclusive, and sustainable environment.
History of the World Scout Jamboree
Scouting’s founder, Robert Baden-Powell, envisioned a special event open to Scouts from all nationalities. This led to the first World Scout Jamboree, which was held in 1920 at London's Olympia in the United Kingdom. It was attended by 8,000 Scouts from 34 countries. Since then, the World Scout Jamboree has been held every four years and hosted all over the world.
